Refined Youth Ministrys (students 7-12th grade)

The EDGE stands for Every Day God Experience, and it is the name of our overall student ministry as well as our Wednesday night meeting.
We believe that following God means more than just living for Him one or two days a week; it means experiencing a relationship with Him EVERY DAY. The EDGE Student Ministry seeks to fulfill the GREAT COMMANDMENT (Matthew 22:37-40) and the GREAT COMMISSION (Matthew 28:19-20).
Matthew 22:37-40
Jesus replied, " 'You must love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your soul, and all your mind.' This is the first and greatest commandment. A second is equally important: 'Love your neighbor as yourself.' All the other commandments and all the demands of the prophets are based on these two commandments."
Matthew 28:19-20
Therefore, go and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit. Teach these new disciples to obey all the commands I have given you. And be sure of this: I am with you always, even to the end of the age.’

To draw students into VISIBLE FAITH.
(go and make disciples of all the nations)

To draw students into THE CHURCH.
(baptizing them in the name of the Father, and the Son, and the Holy Spirit)

To draw students into THE WORD.
(teach these new disciples to obey all the commands I have given you)
